   8.  INTRODUCTION O-1-16 AMENDING HOUSING CODE
Decision Required: Whether to introduce.

This amendment to the housing section of the Town Code will clarify current language regarding the provision of heat to rental units.

   9.     O-2-16 AMENDING THE PERSONNEL SECTION
        Decision Required: Whether to introduce.

This Ordinance is a housekeeping matter in an attempt to clarify essential and non-essential employees regarding holiday compensation.

   10. BUDGET ADJUSTMENT – PUBLIC WORKS EQUIPMENT
Decision Required: Whether to authorize.

The Mayor and Town Council have asked the Director of Public Works for a post snow storm analysis of the Town’s operations.  The Director has indicated that an update of equipment would aid in the Department’s snow removal operations, which would require a $40,000 budget adjustment for the purchase of a skid steer.


   11. DISCUSSION – WAL MART EXPANSION
Decision Required: Whether to oppose.

The Mayor and Town Council have discussed the proposal submitted by Wal Mart, at Capital Plaza, to allow the sale of groceries at that location.  The Mayor and Council have indicated that the Town would be opposed to such an expansion and are bringing this discussion to the Town Meeting.
